Cinnamon Sticks

Our cinnamon is made straight from the bark of the cinnamon tree and is available in many qualities and different grades. Cinnamon sticks have many uses such as for food, flavoring, and health benefits. It is classified depending on the quality and the diameter of the sticks. The highest grade or the finest is known as Alba. Ceylon cinnamon is further divided into more specific grades called Continental (C), Mexican (M) and Hamburg (H). Continental (C) is very slim and golden yellow in colour, making it popular for its shape, colour and taste. However Mexican (M) sticks are rough in appearance and brown in colour while Hamburg (H) sticks being a bit thicker and comprising of rough cinnamon bark.

C5 special is the next best after Alba and the sticks are further graded as C5, C4, M5, M4, H1 and H2.

All the cinnamon sticks are in a standard length of 1.2m.

This is considered as a y product when producing cinnamon quills. Since the tree's leaves can be harvested easily leaf oil is less expensive in comparison to cinnamon bark oil. There are many health other benefits of the oil and often used as a disinfectant, odor neutralizer, as a massage oil, as a mouthwash, insect repellent, for toenail fungus and also as a herbal treatment.

This is an extremely popular substance that is being used for medicinal and flavoring purposes. Even though there is a difference how these two is being extracted the benefits are somewhat similar. Cinnamon bark oil contains a higher percentage of cinnamon Aldehyde.
